Lifeblood Specific Nursing Enterprise Agreement Victoria

If a job has a registered contract, the premium does not apply. However, the ANMF (Vic Branch) and Lifeblood agreed that nurses working in Lifeblood`s DonateLife department, due to the significant difference in the nature of their work, would move to a separate agreement from those working in donor services. Registered contracts apply until they are terminated or replaced. The new DonateLife Enterprise Agreement will be discussed with all stakeholders, including the Australian Red Cross, the Victorian Health Medicine Service, which employs care coordinators for donation services, and the Department of Health and Human Services. The Fair Work Commission can also help employers and workers who are embarking on the “New Approaches” program. Learn more about the new approaches on the Fair Labour Commission website. The agreement also includes access to long-term leave of service after seven years of service (including termination after seven years). The ANMF will continue to keep members informed when negotiations continue in 2021. The Memorandum of Understanding provides for a 3.17% increase in wages from the first full salary period on 1 January 2020 and an increase in wages and allowances of 2% from the first full pay period on 1 January 2021.
